Minimum Tempo

This could’ve been epic if it was animated and shown.

Haven’t written much lately due to an incredible amount of laziness and a desire to finish Minami-ke and Azumanga Daioh. While I have finished the former, I have yet to complete the latter.

I have to say, I enjoyed Minami-ke over Lucky Star, and that is saying something when it’s coming from me: a huge Lucky Star fan. I don’t exactly know why I laugh so much more, but I guess it’s mainly because there are less references to other anime and manga and the jokes are much more easier to understand.

What the hell is Timotei? I finally found out after looking at Anime-Suki Forums’ thread.

Minami Kana is one of my favorite characters in all of anime. Although Takino Tomo from Azumanga Daioh has a similar personality (correct me if I’m wrong), but I absolutely detest Tomo. On the other hand, I adore Kana and believe that she can rival Kagami as my number one anime character.

That being said, Azumanga Daioh seems a lot slower, and I’m struggling to finish the anime. It isn’t that I find it unfunny because I think it is hilarious, but certain characters (specifically Tomo, Koyomi, Kagura, and Yukari-sensei) completely piss me off and I cannot stand the show. It’s odd, because I don’t think I’ve ever been annoyed by some characters as much as they have. Without them though, Azumanga Daioh would simply not be funny. T_T I dunno how to explain this.

Why do you have to be so annoying, Tomo?

I have enough money for my Anime Expo 2008 4-day badge now, and I expect to pre-register soon. I am excited for this, especially since last year’s was complete fail (more on that another time). Because I don’t know how much dealers charge compared to what they charge online (made a topic at the AX forums), I estimate I will take about $800 to $1000 to spend on anime/manga goodies alone. Even though it’s in six months, this is the event I’m looking most forward to this year.

Good thing she closed the door, since he could’ve been Pedobear in disguise.

I also just watched Clannad 13… which almost brought me to tears, but I was able to last. But even if I did cry, the tears would have been man-tears. >_>
