For the past four? five? months, I’ve been watching anime like a monster, consuming series like no other. I have to say, I probably watched more anime in the past several months than television in my whole life. With the exception of Love Hina Again, I at least enjoyed every series. This even includes Air, which frustrated me and left me wishing for more at the end -_- However, I have not been watching anime lately and I don’t know why.
It seems that I’ve hit a wall; I can’t seem to go on with the current series I’m watching. Perhaps I should give it a rest for a week or two? I’ve been progressing through Shuffle! at a rate of maybe an episode a day, or an episode every two days. The only anime I’m truly hooked on is Clannad, something I’ll gladly spend time on Friday night watching.
Judging my enjoyment of Clannad, I may have to spread out the frequency I watch an anime series. To put it more clearly, watch an episode of Shuffle! WEEKLY instead of trying to finish it in a few days. Same for every other series. Perhaps the variety in shows will spark my interest again, although I have no idea why it would. It’s not exactly that I’m sick of anime… it’s just that I can’t seem to sit and watch it for some reason. It’s almost a struggle.
Has anyone else run into this problem? What have you done about it?
