Here was a massive site update and perhaps the third or fourth theme change in a matter of a few weeks and hopefully the last for quite a while now. As you can see the blog’s main page is kind of a magazine/newspaper format and the categories have been drastically narrowed to five categories with additional “Lead Story” and “Features” categories so the theme can function correctly. Do not rely on those two categories because I will be changing posts frequently so that new ones can be considered lead stories and features, and the previous posts listed on the front page will be changed to their proper categories of “Anime & Manga,” “Culture & Food,” or whatever they may belong to.
The ads have also returned to your right, and I have taken the liberty to retag every post so it looks a bit cleaned up. The Blogroll and Collection pages have been updated, and a new Articles page has been added which will be a main page for every impression, preview, and review I write. You may notice some articles from 2005, 2006, and early 2007; those articles are NOT from this blog. I’ve written for a few gaming websites and a blog in the past, and I’ve scavenged some of the stuff I could find and added them. I’ve also added some of my articles that are on NintendoLife, a site that I may work for again in the future.
A list of articles added that were not on loli-pop blog or Minimum Tempo:
- Creative Zen Stone Review - (06.01.2007; originally published on Arrogantics.com)
- Half-Life 2: Episode One (PC) Review - (07.22.2006; originally published on Gamer7.com)
- Metal Gear Acid (PSP) Review - (04.25.2005; originally published on Gamer7.com)
- Metroid Prime 2: Echoes (GCN) Review - (04.11.2005; originally published on Gamer7.com)
- Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Chaos Theory (Xbox) Review - (June 2005; originally published on Gamer7.com)
- Linkin Park - Minutes to Midnight Review - (05.14.2007; originally published on Arrogantics.com)
The next articles are currently on NintendoLife:
- Pokemon Diamond & Pearl (DS) Review - (04.27.2007; published on NintendoLife)
- Project H.A.M.M.E.R. (Wii) Preview - (08.02.2006; published on NintendoLife)
- Red Steel (Wii) Preview - (08.02.2006; published on NintendoLife)
- Wii Sports (Wii) Preview - (11.09.2006; published on NintendoLife)
- Wii Sports (Wii) Review - (11.24.2006; published on NintendoLife)
Disregard the fact that Project H.A.M.M.E.R. was cancelled, heh. These articles are old so they do not reflect my current writing ability, which isn’t saying much since I haven’t improved any…

I like this layout - it’s really crisp and clean considering how much info is displayed on the main page. My only criticism is that the text in the entry paragraphs and this comment box is a bit on the small side…maybe it’s just me (I’ve been at work all day so my eyes are a bit tired and fuzzy) but it might be a bit easier to read if you increase the font size - one pixel might make a big difference.
Other than that, it’s a great layout that looks really different from all the other blogs around at the moment. ^_^
I’ll look into increasing the font size, but it’ll throw off the alignment of the front page (and the listed tags at the bottom of posts), so it may take a way. For a temporary resolution, you could always increase the font size through your browser, although that is a hassle to constantly change. It’ll be fixed sometime tonight.
