Here’s the latest metareview on Minimum Tempo: true tears 12. Will we get a Shin x Noe ending or a Shin x Hiromi ending? Or does it not matter because the episode may be terrible? Well let’s find out what other bloggers think.

From Atarashii Prelude

“Again, WHAT. THE. FLYING. FUCK?! I simply can’t comprehend as to why Noe attempted at being an heroine, but I guess the emotional stress from revelations such as Hiromi claiming to be Shin’s one and only, as well Jun’s confession of his feelings finally got to her. She obviously makes it of course, and the joke now shared will probably linger until we find out what really happens to Noe, although those possibilities seem amusing enough. Also tears abound, but whether or not if it’s “true” remains to be seen, but for the time being, Jun’s bawww’ing is as real as they come, not to mention this guy’s as he seems to think his favorite girl already lost out. Heh.”

From Hikari no Shiawase

“I knew it! I knew Jun had feelings for Noe but I was still unsure until now. I feel sorry for the guy but at least I think he moves on in the next episode. Hiromi’s becoming desperate and Noe’s going crazy, while Aiko seems to be the only sane one of the three. I can’t tell how this anime will end because I think Hiromi and Noe are on a tie, but there’s this feeling that’s telling me Noe will just be the one Shinichirou helps out, but he will end up with Hiromi. Meh, as long as the animators make the last episode exciting, I don’t give a crap who ends up with who. Who knows, maybe Shinichirou won’t end up with anyone and no one will have a partner in the end.”

From Omohide.com

“Essentially, this episode seems to revolve around the old saying, “You don’t realize the value of something until it’s gone”. The series has been building up to the dance performed by Shin. When it happens, he is thinking about Noe and to Hiromi’s surprise, Noe is the one he is gazing at. And at the end, he is running off towards her. A lot of negative things have been piling up on Noe for the past while, and all of it reminds me of KGNE. Does that mean the writers are going to follow the trend and have a sad-but-not-tragic “parting of the ways” in the final episode? Well, I don’t know. I’m not going to pretend that I”m not biased towards Noe because she’s probably one of my favourite characters in a long while. Still, I’m not the type to make predictions or get too heavily attached to a certain “ending”. Based on the usual trends that these kind of shows take, I would guess it will be a “Hiromi” ending. I don’t have much to say on this episode, but the ending was very cruel…”

From The Scrumptious Anime Blog

“Again, what a cliffhanger this episode had. After the Mugiha festival dance, Shin goes to look for Noe, and perhaps confess to her? Then he sees her fly from a tree O_O Nooeeee! don’t die!! x__X;;;”

From Kurogane’s Anime Blog

“I’m… still crying now.

“First off… Hiromi!!! QQ

“Sigh… victory declaration was just so near, but yet so far.. har har….. TT.TT

“Despite all that has been said about Hiromi, I will still continue to stick with her to the very end… damn, what am I saying. My screen is kinda blurry somewhat….

“*wipes tears*”

From Anime Blog ga Arimasu

“Figures, the penultimate (so rarely do I ever get to use that word) episode and they throw in the worst/best cliffhanger they have all season, damn PAWorks and their uncanny ability to make me writhe in agony, anticipating the next episode. As I said, this episode had a lot of development and confrontational scenes adding to the Noe-Hiromi-Shin love triangle, but not much in terms of an indication as to how it’ll end.

“But hey, I’m not going to let that stop me. Unlike my passive stance on the events of Clannad, I’m going to go ahead and say: NOE END!”

From Star Crossed Anime Blog

“This episode built up very well, along with the previous episode. For a large part, it follows Noe, as she tries to make sense of what to do next, and it subtly suggested that Noe would indeed jump off of somewhere at the end of the episode. After all, first we have Shinichiro’s story, where the chicken that wants to fly crashes down. Then she can’t make her own chickens fly. Shinichiro is also in top-shape, and he really is able to find something to do as he performs, and the scene cuts to a couple of pigeons and seagulls that actually do take off.”

From Random Curiosity

“Once again I have to give credit to the writers for keeping things so interesting. Hiromi declaring that she was Shinichirou’s girlfriend was a big enough flag in my mind (reminded me a little of School Days even), but for her then to say the same don’t-leave-me-behind line and for her to take off one of her shoes right after Shinichirou leaves her to look for Noe raises even more flags about their relationship. And then Noe had to jump out of the tree… We know she’s probably okay because she speaks again in the preview, but it’s unclear what’s really going to end up happening between her and Shinichirou.”

From Minimum Tempo…

OMG NOE, DON’T DIE PLZ. I LOVE YOU TOO MUCH.

  1. I’m all for a Noe x Shin ending.

  2. Jun seriously needs to take his sister hang-gliding or something. I applaud the writers for keeping me guessing every episode, though!

  3. I can’t remember the last time rooting for a girl to end up with a guy other than myself. Go Noe, take my love with you ;-;

  4. Noe will never die!!! NEVER!!
