A certain blogger thinks her room is cleaner than mine, and I offered to post pictures of my own room. Then she said, “Do that, I always find it interesting to see other people’s rooms. Even though pictures don’t show that much.” And so here I am, posting pictures of my uninteresting room.
My room is a pentagon, in the shape of the Superman symbol, I suppose. The room contains a fireplace that has never been used. It is carpet on the floor except the front of my fireplace.
In the picture above, you can see the main attraction of my room: the desk. Ignore the light; the time when the photos were taken was night. A Lucky Star poster overlooks my desk. And um, yeah.
Here we have a closer view of my desk. On the very left are letter trays: Inbox, Completed, and Supplies. There are flowers behind to its right, along with a home phone. Then my 17″ Samsung LCD sits with my speakers and webcam. To the right of the monitor are three figures: a Nagato Yuki Nendoroid, a Suzaku figure, and a Saber Nendoroid. A magazine file and my printer/copier/scanner sit at the right end of the desk. Below my desk are some schoolbooks, a drawer (and router and modem), my computer (and another drawer), and then another set of drawers.
The Guitar Hero controller is there so I can show off my skills to the ladies. A stack of manga sits on top of the drawer. My bookcase’s top level consists of CDs, whether it’s music or blanks or software. The second level is for anime and manga-related merchandise and products. The third level are my games, and the bottom is full of books. To the right of all this (and to the left of my desk) is my closet, which is not photographed.
So here’s my meager collection of manga. Those are the 1/8 scale Max Factory Suzumiya Haruhi figure and the 1/6 scale Art Hobby Asahina Mikuru Bunny Girl figure. And that’s a Vespa between them. Pretend that the Strawberry Shortcake lip balm is not there >_>
Here’s my copy of Hinano’s DereDere, accompanied by the Asakura Ryouko and Kimidori Emiri character song albums.
If you don’t know what that hand is, it’s a free hand from Nintendo that was supposed to be used for contest entries for a “Touching is Good” contest back in 2005. I don’t remember the details, but people were supposed to take videos or photos utilizing the hand. Anyway, you can see an assortment of DS, GBA (lol one), GCN, Wii, and PC titles.
On the left is small posters (more liek ads) from magazines: the top is of Beyond Good & Evil and the bottom is of Tomb Raider: Legend. Of course the room’s best feature is the Haruhi wallscroll.
The Code Geass poster I got from the Bandai event; the little whiteboard is where I just clip various items. The large whiteboard is just for sketching out projects and stuff, but I don’t use it too often. The fireplace has never been used before, at least during my stay here.
A closer picture of the poster and the whiteboard. Anime-related on the whiteboard are the Anime Expo 2007 badge and magazine cutouts of Younha. How is she related to anime? Uh… one of her songs was used for a Bleach ED theme (”Houkiboshi”) >_>
I like this poster. Needs moar Misao and Kuroi-sensei though. And some Yutaka would be nice too.
Yuki and Saber say hello. Suzaku’s being a douchebag. So yeah Sasa, it’s not hard having a cleaner room when you have nothing in it. I also realized how much my camera sucks.
Also, check out double’s awesome room.

Omg you have a HAND call the police!
In before lolikit (the faggot) ranting about Lucky Star.
I feel like my room is woefully under-decorated. The only thing I have is a few manga lying around. x.x
Damn, that’s one sweet Code Geass poster you have there.
And i feel my room is overly decorated. Sigh.
xD thank you again for buying it ;A;
if only I had my own room, then I’ll be able to showcase my animu stuff XD I do that in the office instead :p
That’s tidy?
This is “tidy”
ok, I jest. Some nice you’ve got there, tell me when you are throwing them out, I’ll be raiding your bins.
@Hinano: No problem =]
@usagjien: Sharing your room sucks =/
@Runningkid: Oh, I totally forgot about the tidy part. I just meant to show my room, heh.
I wouldn’t think of taking pictures of my small room as it stands right now - it’s mostly stacks of stuff and some boxes. Kinda reminds me a little of Yomiko Readman’s pad except with a lot fewer books. Maybe in a year or so when I have space for proper shelving. It would really help to have a proper closet, too.
I also have a fair number of posters from magazines I haven’t put up because I’m not really a poster person, although I do have one or two pinned up right now next to the small wall calendars.
I see the autograph Lucky Star poster!!!
Oh My, I want!!!
I see Code Geass poster too!!! I like!!!
Nice room!!!
