Minimum Tempo

The lack of updates can be attributed to several factors: 1) purchase for a (used) Xbox 360; 2) studying and homework (no, really!); 3) writer’s block; 4) lack of enough anime watching; and 5) laziness.

I bought a great deal of a used Xbox 360, 11 games, 2 controllers, and 2 Guitar Hero controllers for $350 USD. Not a bad deal, but the console and controllers were filthy. I actually had to scrub everything because it so disgusting.

Studying? Yeah, I had a huge chemistry test on Tuesday. There was also the usual homework… but don’t expect many more updates this month. I have a video project due on June 2 for my history class, but my group has not started filming and it doesn’t look like we’ll output a decent documentary.

In addition to my lack of ideas (isn’t that all the time, though?), I’ve been feeling especially lazy. I’d love to update more frequently, but it’s just so much work.

Although I was keeping up with the new season’s shows quite feverishly, the interest just tanked. I’ve been watching an episode maybe once a day, but no more than that. Of course, Kure-nai and Code Geass R2 are the only shows that DEMAND watching upon the release of their respective subs.

I will write fewer episode summaries (as if there are any here) for Minimum Tempo, and instead will publish them on Borderline Hikikomori, home of CJBlackwing, Crisu, and some other writers. I’ll probably cover Kure-nai, Kyouran Kazoku Nikki, Soul Eater, and/or Zettai Karen Children. Stayed tuned for when I actually do write episode summaries/reviews for those shows.
