When lolikit (and Jeff Lawson) says a show is “amazing stuff,” then it must indeed be awesome.
And so I started watching a few days ago…
and I’m hooked.
There’s like, no story, yet it’s so good.
WHY IS IT SO GOOD? Then again, I’ve only watched about five episodes; I’m hoping the greatness lasts. Judging by LK’s and Jeff Lawson’s posts, I believe it will.
It’s nothing I’ve ever felt before. Aria is simply lovely, beautiful, and relaxing. I can almost smell that Neo-Venezian air. I don’t think I’ll ever become tired of hearing “Ara, ara” or reading “Embarrassing remarks aren’t allowed!”
It feels like when I watched AIR for the first time, except with no story (and better than AIR; I’m not hating on AIR because I believe it was awesome, at least the second time through. <3 Misuzu and that girl that gives out rice coupons. <3 <3 <3).
… slice of life shows are awesome.
Unfortunately, I need to finish my take-home chemistry quiz, study for two finals and work on a film project. I hate real life. Good thing there’s Aria.
What a worthless post, an incoherent random babble of words. Hopefully you can expect something actually worth reading in a few days… maybe.
Icy out.
P.S. GO WATCH ARIA IF YOU HAVEN’T.

You have a “lolikitsune” tag now? Dude, who do you think you are, me?
Also, good to know that you’ve finally accepted my awesome taste. As for AIR… yeah, pretty much. AIR was all about atmosphere to me, so in a way it was very similar to Aria. Also, they’re the two shows that changed me the most. I love them very much :)
I’m trying to watch Aria - I’ve gotten though 6 eps over the course of a year, XD. I was actually going to do a post about that in a few~
I love slice of life shows, I really do. Somehow I can’t get into Aria. I love Air and similar titles. I can appreciate the atmosphere and joy of these, but Aria never did appeal to me. I’ve only read the manga though- perhaps I would enjoy the anime more.
@lolikitsune: Well, I already have two posts using the tag =P
@digitalboy, BakaTanuki: Guess Aria isn’t for everyone, but I dunno, I can’t really say why I’m so hooked. The atmosphere, the characters, and just the feeling I get from watching it… that’s the best I can put it.
like you, I’m late to the party. I just started the Natural, though, and the whole thing is just inexplicable. The mood, the pace, the catch phrases, the mascots — I should be so annoyed by now, but I love it. The very definition of warm and fuzzy.
