Minimum Tempo

Looking for writers
As always, Minimum Tempo is looking for new writers, whether they are episodic bloggers or editorial bloggers. Writing experience is NOT required; I will work with unskilled writers to improve their writing. The only criteria are the following:

1. Image Editing: Able to resize and crop images using an image editing program such as Photoshop, Paint.NET, or GIMP
2. Timeliness: On time with his or her posts, and posts at least once a week
3. Cooperation: Willing to learn from, help, and work with fellow staff with writing or technical issues
4. Respect: Respectful and friendly toward staff and visitor

If you can fulfill the above, then you are welcome to join the Minimum Tempo team. Please head to the contact page and drop off a writing sample and an email address.

State of my blogging
For the months of June and July, I had over fifty posts planned, nearly one for each day. Blame my laziness and general lack of energy.

I did go to Anime Expo 2008 (and met CalAggie, Benu, Mike, and gia), but don’t expect a post on that because none of it is actually interesting (except Shokotan’s concert, but I’m sure you’ve heard enough about that).

Assuming that I get my life together, Minimum Tempo will see more posts in August. My anime watching has increased drastically lately, so reviews of Shigofumi and Black Lagoon: The Second Barrage are needed.

Blog maintenance
WordPress 2.6 seems nifty; Fluency went crazy on me on 2.5, but the new version (1.2) seems to work fine with WordPress 2.6.

Beyond sprucing up the posts and categorization and tagging, I may switch MT’s theme to something else. At the earliest, however, that change will come in October or November. The Unstandard is still excellent and deserves more time in the spotlight.
