Kawai Eri, noted songwriter and musician for several anime titles, has passed away on the 4th of August at 11:40 PM due to a terminal illness.
According to j1m0ne’s blog, her wake will be held on 6 August from 6-7pm and the funeral on the following day from 12-1pm at Ceremony Hall Jonen, Kuramae, Taito, Tokyo.
She’s worked on theme songs for several titles including the Aria series, Bamboo Blade, and Utawarerumono.
I loved the lyrics for the Aria OP/EDs as well as the OP/ED for Bamboo Blade; she will be dearly missed =( rest in peace, Kawai Eri.
