I don’t think I bought too much at Anime Expo 2009, but that’s just me.
Here’s a shot of all of them:
Stuff on the left:
Going clockwise… the first three items are three Aria (non-H) doujins I got for $25 all together on day four. Not a bad deal considering they were $12.00 a piece otherwise. Next is the Aria Punit Collection’s Mizunashi Akari doll… figure… thing. With its fabric clothing and such, I would consider this more of a doll than an actual figure, but whatever. The bottom three are Hourglass of Summer (free with my purchase of Princess Waltz), Suguri Perfect Edition (some cool doujin shooter game that I find really difficult), and Princess Waltz, an H-game. The Miku print is from a friend’s artist alley booth. The last item is the Aria the Illustration Avvenire artbook, which cost a hefty $42.00. Well worth it for Aria though.
Stuff on the right:
Now don’t expect me to tell you the titles and such of each of these; just look at them. Two of Mikoto from Index/Railgun, one of Ami and Taiga from Toradora!, one of Maria from Hayate, one of Kirino and Tamaki from Bamboo Blade, and two of some other two manga or shows that I don’t recognize. These were my first ever doujinshi purchases, and I can’t say that I regret buying them. I believe it’s only the beginning.
Yeah guys, that’s what I bought at AX.

Where did you hide the Aria H?
WHAT ARIA H :D
Not pictured: Akari covered in IcyStorm’s blizzard of jizz.
YOU SICK BASTARD.
Which one, Shin or IcyStorm? :P
And as a friend of mine said, “There’s nothing wrong with ARIA porn. Just saying.” Though it’s not like I read/use the stuff myself.
I would never do that to Akari, you bastard.
I hate you.
WHY THE HATE, CHUM? IS IT BECAUSE I HAVE TWO MIKOTO DOUJINS AND YOU DON’T?
HAH! As if a mere Mikoto doujinshi could make me j-jealous…
jizz-blizzard lol
A jizzard? >_>
Total expenditures?
A little under $300 for loot.
Wow, I managed to get the Avvenire book for $40! That’s $2 in savings right there that can go into my anime music obsession! I am curious about one thing and that’s how much people budget for these conventions. I know I gave myself a spending cap so I wouldn’t go overboard :P
I had a little under $400 for everything, including food and parking. I ended up with $0.00, quite literally.
Actually, I saw the Avvenire book for like $36 at the Kinokuniya area.
Ohhh! A Candy Boy doujinshi! I would love to get one. :) It’s the one above Maria.
